D’AMICO, GUARDIAN OF CULTURE AND TERRITORY WITH DONATION TO THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK OF PAESTUM
Among the leading Italian companies in the production of food preserves, D'Amico has always been connected to the world of art and culture, and as a donor, it has participated in favor of the Paestum Archaeological Park, particularly in the seismic monitoring of the Temple of Neptune, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Seismic monitoring aims to measure every minimal movement of the structure in real-time, thanks to state-of-the-art sensors placed in the upper parts of the building and underground.
This will make it possible to track structural changes that are not visible to the naked eye and could pose a risk.
"Donating to the realization of the monitoring project made us feel like guardians of history," said Sabato D'Amico, CEO of the eponymous company. With our company, we aim to promote "Made in Italy" worldwide and contribute to the development of this area in the Sele Plain, which is so rich in history and culture.
To be a patron means to create a strong relationship with important entities such as the Paestum and Velia Archaeological Park, which daily protect and enhance our cultural heritage to write a broader growth project that looks to the future."
