Black lentil balls with vegan curry mayonnaise

Ingredients

FOR ABOUT 15 MEATBALLS: 400 g D'Amico Black Lentils - 80 g breadcrumbs - 30 g grated cheese - rosemary to taste - salt and pepper to taste - 100 g mayonnaise - curry powder to taste - 500 g oil for frying - For the batter: 50g water - 50g 00 flour

Instructions

Drain and blend the lentils. Add the chopped rosemary, salt, pepper, and cheese, and mix well. With slightly damp hands, shape the mixture into classic balls and place them in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the water and flour to make a batter.

Dip the balls first in the batter and then in the breadcrumbs and place them on a tray.

Fry them in hot oil at 180°C until golden brown.

Mix the mayonnaise with the curry powder and place in a bowl. Serve.
