D’Amico’s commitment to sustainability is demonstrated through a series of concrete and innovative initiatives, demonstrating a constant dedication to renewable energy sources and the circular economy. Since 2010, the company has integrated a photovoltaic system to cover its energy needs.
D’Amico is developing a medium-long term development plan, aligned with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda, which will cover environmental, governance, economic, and social aspects towards a sustainable future, through the reporting of the sustainability report.
Another tangible example is the project to trace the bean supply chains, introduced in 2023, through blockchain technology. This initiative aims to ensure transparency and trust, with the use of a QR code on the label that provides consumers with access to information on production and the supply chain, reinforcing the values of transparency and authenticity.
